About This Spot

Walking into Casa do Brasil, you’re immediately embraced by a vibrant yet welcoming energy that sets the tone for a thoughtful dining experience. The hum of conversation flows easily around the spacious dining room where warm wood tones and subtle Brazilian accents brush the atmosphere with authenticity. It’s a place where time slows just enough for you to settle in and savor the moments, whether you’re with family, friends, or marking a special occasion.

The rhythm here is unhurried but lively, inviting guests to wander through the extensive salad bar — a feast of fresh, colorful ingredients and distinctive Brazilian flavors — before the parade of meats begins. The attentive staff moves like an extension of the experience, intuitively reading the room and making you feel well cared for without ever crowding the space. It’s clear that the service and food are meant to be part of a larger celebration of sharing and discovery.

Casa do Brasil’s approach to the traditional steakhouse is both generous and nuanced. The selection of meats, from tender cuts of picanha to richly smoked ribs and house specialties like bacon-wrapped chicken, arrives in steady waves that keep the table connected and engaged. Complementing these are sides that strike a thoughtful balance — from crisp plantains to vibrant salads and unexpected hints of caramelized sweetness. Drinks follow suit with a carefully curated menu of cocktails and bubbles that add lightness and sparkle to the meal.

What makes this place linger in your memory is its subtle ability to bring people together over food without the hurry or fuss. It’s a spot that feels equally at ease welcoming those new to Brazilian cuisine and longtime fans seeking the comfort of familiar flavors. The atmosphere, attentive yet relaxed pace, and the bounty of thoughtful details offer a quietly joyous experience that leaves you planning your return before the night ends.

I took my mom here for her birthday and it was honestly the perfect choice. From the food to the service to the drinks, everything was really, really good. They have different options, from the full experience to an executive one, which is what we chose (with about 8–9 types of unlimited meat). The salad bar is amazing and everything was super fresh. They brought us pão de queijo (the famous Brazilian cheese bread) and some fried yuca to start. Then they came around with the different meats and EVERY single one was delicious, perfectly cooked, juicy and seasoned just right. They even had grilled pineapple, which I loved. We ordered caipirinhas and they were the best I’ve ever had so far in Austin. The passion fruit one was incredible. This place definitely stole my heart. They even surprised my mom with a complimentary dessert for her birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was amazing. I’d 100% come back!

We had become disenchanted with Brazilian themed restaurants after bad experiences in Orlando and downtown Austin, but now our faith has been restored after a meal at Casa do Brasil. We had a delicious meal with excellent service and pleasant wine by the glass for my wife’s birthday. The salad bar is incredible. A comprehensive selection of charcuterie, cheese and salad so you can create your personal antipasto. Be careful, it’s easy to overdo it, you must leave space for the selection of meats that will be offered to you by the meat waiters. When you are ready, turn your table disc over so the green side is up and within moments sirloin and filet mignon and sausage and lamb chops and shrimp, pork or chicken will be brought to your table. Try one, try them all. And supplement the meats with mashed potatoes and fried plantain that are left on your table. It’s a meal fit for a king. And if you have any space left there is also dessert. We shared a complimentary flan (with a candle for the birthday) that was also delicious. It’s moderately expensive, our brunch for two with three glasses of wine was $141 before tip, but it’s worth it. The tables and chairs are comfortable, the sound levels are moderate so you can hold a conversation without raising your voice and the rest rooms are clean and well maintained.

Had an amazing dining experience at this location. We came around 11:30am on a Sunday. There was a medium sized crowd, however, the customer service was amazing! They were great with asking about what dishes we were interested in, picking up extra plates, making menu recommendations. They also offer military discount! My fiancé & I love visiting different steakhouses & sharing these dining experiences. We 100% would return to this location. We highly recommend spicy picanha & top sirloin!

I loved this place and cannot wait to being my husband next time! The food was good and seems on par with other brazillian steakhouse offerings. My only two qualms, we requested shrimp twice before it was finally brought to the table and two of the beef cuts had bone shards I encountered while chewing. My only other preference would be to have some of the vegetables sides warm (besides beans) and some fruit on the salad bar. Flan was amazing. The pasta salad and Caprese salad were my favorite salad bar options. The sirloin and ribeye were my favorite cuts while some of the others were a tad dry (pork ribs, filet mignon, flavored beef kabobs). The brazillian cheese was definitely a first for me and one of my favorite parts!

Everything was great from beginning to end. The food was delicious, the meats/protein were cooked just right(even the well done), and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Carlos and Josue were outstanding — attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely coming back!

The location is where there was a Mimi's. I had the salad bar for lunch. Everything was good except for the salmon on cucumber - too fishy and no smoky taste. The cooked bacon was okay - it was too sweet. I prefer my bacon as is and crispy. Too bad Casa Do Brazil did not have both. It would have been nice if they did. The rest of the food was great - especially the sweet fried bananas, mashed potatoes and the yucca fries. The Brazilian cheese bread was a bit salty for my taste. Other than that, the service was exceptional. I felt like I was lunching at The Four Seasons. The salad bar is definitely worth the $19.50 price.

We were hungry and this restaurant certainly filled our tummies! Delicious, tasty meats (beef & chicken choices) And that salad bar, cheeses, veggies, good choices and everything you can imagine - it was there. You must try the spicy glazed bacon & don't pass on the grilled cheese bites and have them drizzle with honey...OMG amazing! But what makes a good restaurant is the service...the service was spot on and everyone was so friendly, attentive, and helpful! Highly recommend and come hungry ~ you and your appetite will not be disappointed!
